Who Am I?
My name is Dierica. I’m a 28-year-old wife and mom from Middle Tennessee who also does a little writing from time to time.
My hobbies include reading, cooking, crochet, and going to the gym.
I’m a girl’s girl at heart and want to help other women in any way that I can.
What Will You Find Here?
I wanted to create a space for women to come together and discuss different ideas and support one another.
I was actually heavily inspired to make this blog by the Lemon8 app where a lot of women have talked about it being a safe space for us to come together and motivate one another.
You will see me talk about all different kinds of things on this blog including:
- Hobby talk
- Book and show reviews
- Topics centered around modern motherhood and womanhood
- Entrepreneurship and balancing career and home life
- Some daily life content
- Practical advice for moms and parents
- Interviews with other women and their life experiences
Basically, creating that village that a lot of us don’t have, to encourage each other during those tough times and inspire each of us to be the best that we can be!
That would be my ultimate dream for Sips of Motherhood.
What Make Sips of Motherhood Different?
One of the biggest things I champion heavily is the safety of women and children pretty much above all else.
I also want to be able to provide whatever resources I can to help other women get ahead in life.
We as women already face so much hardship as is. Whether it’s domestic violence support, lack of access to healthcare, or single mothers facing poverty, I want this community to be able to lean on each other so we can all get ahead.

Product recommendations to make our lives easier? Absolutely.
I was us to build a community, a real community where we can discuss our real lives. My hope is that you all can provide feedback about what issues we want to talk and learn about and we go from there. Sky’s the limit!
